RollLab
Privacy Policy
Last updated 5 September 2026
RollLab is built and operated by Player 2 Technologies. This policy explains what data RollLab collects and how we use it.
What we collect
- Account details — your name, email and account identifier, via our authentication provider Clerk.
- Profile details — anything you choose to add to your profile, such as a photo, belt, weight and training goals. These are optional.
- Your footage and labels — the videos you upload and the segments, positions, tags, ratings and notes you create.
- Messages and resources — the chat and discussion messages you send and any resources (documents, images or notes) you share with your team.
- Commentary recordings — when a coach records commentary, we capture their webcam video and voice and bake them into the shareable breakdown video.
- Diagnostics — crash reports and basic performance/diagnostic data needed to run, debug and improve the Service, via Firebase Crashlytics. If you enable notifications, we also store a device push token so we can send them.
- Billing details — if you take out a RollLab Coach plan, payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe directly and never touch our servers; we keep your country, plan status and team size to run your plan.
How we use your data
To provide and improve the Service: store and play back your footage, generate thumbnails, build your analytics and progress views, improve and develop our features over time, and secure your account.
Advertising and tracking
The RollLab app contains no third-party advertising or tracking tools and does not track you across other apps or websites.
Our marketing website (rolllab.io) uses the Meta pixel to understand how people find us and to measure our advertising, which shares limited browsing activity with Meta. This applies to the website only — not the app — and you can control it through your browser or cookie settings and your Meta ad preferences.
Who can see your content
Your library is private. A coach can only see an athlete's library after the athlete accepts the link, and access ends when either side removes it. Shares and chat messages are visible only to the people you send them to. We never make your footage public.
Where it's stored
Video files are stored on the Amazon AWS global cloud. Authentication is handled by Clerk, plan payments by Stripe, and crash reporting and push notifications by Google Firebase. These providers process data on our behalf.
Your choices
You can delete a video at any time, which removes it and its labels from your library. You can delete your account and its data from within the app, in Account → General → Delete account — see Delete your account for the full details. If you'd prefer, you can also email us at legal@rolllab.io and we'll take care of it.
Children
You must be at least 13 to use RollLab, and anyone under 18 should use it with a parent or guardian's consent. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child under 13 has given us their information, email us and we'll delete it.
