Terms of Service

Your account

Authentication is handled by Clerk. You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority where you live), you may only use the Service with the consent and involvement of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use of the Service. If you set up an account for someone under 18 — for example, a coach or parent creating one for a young athlete — you confirm you have the authority and their parent's or guardian's consent to do so. We don't knowingly allow children under 13 to create accounts or provide personal information without verifiable parental consent.

Your videos and labels

You keep ownership of the videos, segments, and labels you upload ("Your Content"). You grant RollLab a licence to store, process, and display Your Content to operate and improve the Service — for example generating thumbnails, playing back clips, building your analytics, running RollMap when you ask for it, and developing and improving our features over time.

Only upload videos you filmed or have permission to use. If other people appear in your videos — such as training partners or opponents — you're responsible for having their permission to upload the footage and to use it with features such as RollMap, which processes everyone it follows in the video. You're responsible for Your Content, and you agree to indemnify RollLab against claims arising from it.

Coach plans

Athlete accounts are free. Coach features are part of the RollLab Coach plan, billed monthly per athlete in your team through our payment provider, Stripe. Your invoice adjusts as you add or remove athletes, and prices are shown before you subscribe. Introductory offers apply once per coach, and we may change prices with reasonable notice.

You can cancel any time from Settings → Billing — you keep coach features until the end of the period you've paid for. Ending a plan pauses coach features only; it never affects an athlete's access to their own account and footage.

RollLab Pro

RollLab Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription for individual accounts that adds features on top of the free tier — monthly (A$9 in Australia, US$7 elsewhere) or yearly (A$90 in Australia, US$70 elsewhere — two months free), where offered. The price is shown before you subscribe and is set per country by the store you buy through: on iPhone it's charged to your Apple ID through the App Store; on Android it's charged to your Google account through Google Play; on the web it's charged to your card through Stripe.

Your first subscription may start with a free trial. Free trials are offered once per account, and each store (the App Store, Google Play or Stripe on the web) applies its own eligibility rules, so a trial may not be offered if you've already used one. Cancel before the trial ends and you won't be charged; buy a subscription during the trial and any unused trial time is forfeited.

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Renewal is charged within 24 hours before the current period ends, at the price shown in your subscription settings. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings (iPhone), in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions (Android) or in Settings → RollLab Pro (web). Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for, and we don't refund unused time ourselves. Refunds for purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. Purchases made through the App Store are also governed by Apple's standard EULA, and purchases made through Google Play by the Google Play Terms of Service.

RollMap

RollMap is part of RollLab Pro. It's an automated analysis: computer-vision models trace the outlines of the two grapplers you tap and suggest a position for each moment of the video. It can be wrong — it can lose track of someone, mix the two grapplers up or mislabel a position — so treat its results as a training aid to review, not as fact.

How RollMap processes your video, where and by whom is explained in our Privacy Policy. We may change how RollMap works, or limit how often it can be run, as the feature develops.

Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to break the law, infringe others' rights, upload malware, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the platform.

If you believe content on RollLab infringes your rights, email us at legal@rolllab.io — we'll review it, remove infringing content, and may suspend repeat infringers.

Availability and disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is". We don't guarantee uptime or that features won't change, and to the extent permitted by law we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Keep your own backups of important footage.

Ending your account

You can stop using the Service any time, and delete your account and its data directly in the app, in Account → General → Delete account. You can also close your account by emailing us at legal@rolllab.io. You can download your videos from your library at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and any disputes will be handled by the courts there.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time as the product evolves. It's your responsibility to review them regularly — the date above shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the Service means you accept the current terms.
